Pratyay Raha ist ein indischer Klangkünstler und Komponist, der im Bereich der neuen Medien und der akustischen Ökologie arbeitet. In seiner Praxis verfolgt er einen vielschichtigen und investigativen Ansatz, mit dem er zum Verständnis natürlicher Ökosysteme beiträgt, die den negativen Auswirkungen exzessiver anthropogener Eingriffe sowie der anhaltenden Klimakrise ausgesetzt sind. Dabei stellt er die komplexen Wechselwirkungen zwischen Mensch, Umwelt und den Verbindungen zu diesen ökologisch betroffenen Gebieten in den Vordergrund.

Seine Teilnahme wird unterstützt durch das Goethe Institut Bangalore. 

Pratyay Raha is an Indian sound artist and composer working in the field of new media and acoustic ecology. In his practice, he takes a multi-layered and investigative approach, contributing to the understanding of natural ecosystems that are exposed to the negative effects of excessive anthropogenic interventions as well as the ongoing climate crisis. In doing so, he focuses on the complex interactions between humans, the environment and the connections to these ecologically affected areas.
