Carina Pesch alias La Pesch, arbeitet als Klang- und Stimmkünstlerin, Autorin, Regisseurin und Kuratorin in den Bereichen Radio, Installation, Performance und Walking Arts. Sie ist Ko-Kuratorin der Hörsammelaktion GERÄUSCHKULISSE. Ihre Solo-Arbeiten zeigen ein ausgeprägtes Gespür für die spezifischen Eigenschaften von Phänomenen, Menschen und Orten. Sie oszillieren dabei zwischen narrativ und rein klangbasiert, mit einer starken Faszination für den schmalen Grat zwischen Fiktion und Realität. Oft verwendet sie das gesprochene Wort, das über Sätze und Syntax hinausgeht und dabei zur reinen Atmosphäre oder einer emotionalen Qualität wird. Sie setzt Begegnungen in Szene und schafft Kontaktpunkte im Dialog. Ihr besonderes Interesse gilt persönlichen und gesellschaftlichen Grenzen sowie deren Überschreitung und Verwischung, und der Konfrontation und Begegnung unterschiedlicher Erfahrungshorizonte.

She co-curates the gathered listening event GERÄUSCHKULISSE. Her solo works show a strong sense for the specific characteristics of phenomena, people, and places. They oscillate between narrative and purely sound-based with strong fascination for the thin borderline between fiction and reality. Often she uses spoken word that transcends sentences and syntax and reaches a pure atmosphere or emotional quality. She sets in scene encounters and creates contact points in dialogue. Her special interests are personal and social boundaries as well as transcending and blurring them, the confrontation and meeting of different horizons of experience.
